The Community Spirit Australian made cufflinks have an Aboriginal design inspired by our connections to community.

The jewellery range has been made in Victoria through a collaboration between jewellery maker Erin Kate Venville and contemporary Aboriginal artist Holly McLennan-Brown. Holly is a proud Yorta Yorta woman who hopes to share the beauty of Aboriginal Culture through her art. Combining their talents has resulted in a modern and unique jewellery range that portrays the stories and symbolism of Aboriginal culture.

The colours of the art stands out in different light and being handmade each one is slightly unique.

  • colour palette – warm caramel tones with burnt orange, white and yellow elements.
  • printed disc measures approximately 16mm
  • Timber disc measures approximately 20mm diameter x 3.7mm thick
  • Stainless steel cufflink fitting
  • Variations in the timber grain/colour may vary due to the nature of the product
  • The timber is Redgum Plywood Veneer with Poplar core.
  • These timbers are manufactured with formaldehyde free glue adhesives making them safer to cut and friendlier to the environment

Sublimation is a specialised printing process that transfers images from paper to metal via heat. It is a permanent surface treatment however care must be taken to ensure your jewellery stays in great condition. Avoid spraying with perfume or other sprays, keep out of direct sunlight for long periods of time and store in the packaging provided to avoid scratching the surface.

Makes a beautiful gift for corporate work events, birthdays and Christmas.

A small portion of the sales are donated to Koorie Heritage Trust. A not for profit organisation that promotes, supports and celebrates the continuing journey of the Aboriginal people of South Eastern Australia. Their vision is to live in a society where Aboriginal culture and history are a fundamental part of Victorian life.
