The Indigenous artist, Ritasha Nampilinpa Martin, is the daughter of Andrea Nungarrayi Martin, distinguished artist and long time art coordinator at Warlukurlangu Artists. The art centre is famous for its gloriously colourful acrylic paintings and is both a stronghold of traditional Warlpiri culture and an essential part of Yuendumu's community life.

Ritasha was born in Alice Springs and has spent her whole life in Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community 290 km north-west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. She attended the local school and when she finished her schooling she worked with the local Youth Program ‘Jaru Pijirdi’ helping to prevent petrol sniffing in the community.

Ritasha has been exhibiting in Group Exhibitions in Australia, England and USA, since 2005.

The original Aboriginal artwork makes a special Australian gift for family and friends overseas for special birthdays or as a wedding present. This statement piece would also transform your home or workplace.
