Why not take it home as a unique souvenir from Australia!Grace Napangardi Woods was born on May 1973 in Alice Springs Hospital, the closest hospital to Yuendumu, a remote Aboriginal community approximately 290km north-west from Alice Springs in the Central Desert of Australia. She has lived primarily in Yuendumu for her entire life, though spends much time with family in Alice Springs and in Nyirripi. 

Grace’s father is a Warlpiri man from Yuendumu and her mother is Arrente from Alice Springs. Her grandfather Gerhard Inkamala was a watercolour painter and a founder of the Hermannsburg School. She has 4 children and several grandchildren. As a proud cultural woman Grace enjoys taking part in cultural activities, women’s business and dancing.

Warlukurlangu Artists is famous for its gloriously colourful acrylic paintings. The art centre has a national and international profile and its art has been featured in hundreds of exhibitions and publications in Australia and around the world.
